Balboa Beach

So we went to CA this last weekend for Sean's little bro's graduation.   We went to the beach and it was probably 75 and the water was freezing.   Leave it to the Cramer girls to drag their dad in it.   Going from the 100's to the 70's was quite a change for us.   We had a great time at the beach.

Sand Eater

So Tate will pretty much eat anything and a lot of it.   He loves food!   He would not quit eating sand on the beach.  He was shoveling it in my the handful.  It was disgusting.  He even started laying on his stomach and dipping his face in it. When we got home he had sand in places that hurt.
On the way to the beach Avery said "Boy, today is a perfect day for an ice cream cone".   Sean and I just laughed and said that it was a perfect day.  I love how simple and true that is. The things that come out of my five year olds little mouth always makes me think.  Today the babies were being a little crazy as usual and I said to Avery that they were making me so crazy that I wanted to scream.  Avery's reply was then scream mom.  Go ahead.  It was hilarious, so I did.  It felt great.  She is my little side kick and I love her dearly.  I will be sad when she will be in kindergarten all day next year.   She is such a big help to me with the twins.   She holds the door open every day at the gym, so I can fit my wide load stroller through.  She always plays with the babies.  They love her so much.   I can't even count how many times she has brought me a diaper and now she even wants to change them, but only if they are not poopy.    I love you Avery!

Beach Babes

The babies are with their cousin Lucas who is just two months younger then them.    Grandma Cramer's house was definitely hopping with three toddlers and Avery running around.

Dinner at the Cramers

So all my kids love spaghetti, but any mom knows how messy it is to clean up.   It is always all over them, on the floor and stuck to their chairs.   Tate's new thing is that he likes to throw food, so that is exciting.   Sparky(our dog) waits anxiously under the babies chairs hoping for some food to "accidently" come his way.   He is a great vacuum/mop, so my job is a little easier on spaghetti nights.

That's going to leave a mark

So Tate falls probably every other day and wacks his big noggin on something.    Unfortunately, lately it has been our tile that he keeps hitting.   We only have carpet in our bedrooms, living and family room, so there is a lot danger zones in our house.   The poor kid is so top heavy that it is kind of expected.  This picture is the worst goose egg and bruise that he has ever had.  It was as big as a silver dollar and definitely left a mark.   A few days after the incident his eye turned black and blue.  I was worried CPS was going to get a call.

Gotta love church

First of all getting ready for church is quite a chore.  Our church starts at 12 and we are still always late.  Church is right in the middle of the babies nap time, so that makes it a little extra exciting.    During sacrament I swear all the twins do is eat, because that is the only way to keep them from running off and to be quiet.   Thank goodness there are 4 sets of twins(including ours) in our ward,  so we aren't the only obnoxious, distracting family.   It is very hard to go to church knowing that it will be a lot of work and we probably won't hear most of what is going on.    We know that we will be blessed and feel the spirit just for being there.  One month until nursery yahoo!!!!!!!!!

Sparky Cramer

So this is our dog Sparky.  Yes, I know that we are crazy to get a puppy with the babies.   I just don't have enough chaos in my life, so I decided to shake it up a bit.  Anywho, don't let the innocent face fool you.   He is a great dog and the kids love him, but the last few days he has tried my patience.
Sean walks him in the morning and I walk him at night.   On Wednesday night on our walk he was chewing on something, so I grabbed it out of his mouth and it was a tampon applicator.  I almost puked.   It was sooooo nasty!   Then on Thursday night I was walking with my friend Dana and he was chewing on something again and wouldn't drop it.   Dana and I both looked at each other and knew what it was.   It was a kitten head!!!  I was freaking out, because I am a huge cat fan.   We had heard that a coyote had gotten and kitten and eaten only the body and left the head and tail.   So leave it to Sparky to get the head.
Thanks to Dana she grabbed a doggy bag and pulled it out of his mouth.   So sick.   I love Sparky, but sometimes he makes me crazier than I already am.

Sisters

Avery and Meg are great friends.  They now share a room and both of them love it!   They love each other so much and have so much fun together.  Avery is such a great big sister to Meg and Tate.  They are four years apart, but are such great friends.  Avery is always very protective of Meg, especially when Tate is picking on her.   It is sweet.   I love my sister, but wish we were closer in age.  We are thirteen years apart and she is about to be a grandma, so we are in different chapters in life.    Thank goodness for sisters.

Wild Hair Tate

This is Tate before his last haircut.  He has had over 3 in his life.   I can't get it to stay down, no matter how much product I put in it.   It totally fits his personality.  He is wild and crazy and very unpredictable.   He is also very chill compared to Meg.  It's gotta be a girl thing.  Who knew that that babies can PMS too?   Sean and Tate have no clue what they are in for.  Three women in the house.  Girl power!

Finally.... A blogger

Yes folks I have given in and created a blog.  A lot of you know that I hate scrapbooking, but suffer through it anyways for my kids.   Ever since the twins were born 16 months ago, I have not done one scrapbook page.   Blogging is my new and improved scrapbook.  I just don't have the time to do a real scrapbook, so this will have to do.
