On November 13th the ground breaking for the Gilbert temple finally happened. We have been waiting so long for this to happen. The temple site is about 2 miles from our house. We went and had great seats and the kiddos got to hold the shovels and see the temple is going to look like. Meg kept thinking that the temple was going to built when we were sitting there. She kept asking when it was going to get built. It was hard for them to understand that it will take 2 years for it to be built. We had a fabulous day and are so excited to have a temple so close to us again.

Last trip to Disneyland for awhile
Our season passes expire in October, so we decided to make one more trip out to CA. We stayed with Sean's parents and went to Disney for 2 days, the beach and then drove home. Thank goodness Sean's parents came to Disneyland with us. We really needed the extra hands. The kids had a blast and we definitely got our moneys worth from our passes.

The twins are in preschool!
Yesterday the twins started preschool. I can't believe that they are 3 1/2. The time has flown. They are going to a lady named JaNae Leavitt in our stake. She is awesome. They go Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-2:30. Tate didn't want me to come in. He just wanted me to drop him off. Tate kept telling me to stop taking pictures. It was funny. Avery was the same way, so I wasn't too surprised. I did take a nap yesterday. It was great. The house was so quiet, it felt weird. They had a great first day.

Avery's in 2nd grade!
Utah Summer 2010
In July we went up to Utah for 2 weeks. We had a great time. We stayed a week at my parents house then went camping in American Fork Canyon. Sad to say, but my kids had never been camping before. Those of you who know me, I hate camping. We were in a trailer, but it is still not my favorite thing. The kids loved it and had an absolute blast. My brother Michael and his family came too. We did tie dye shirts, had smores, hiked and got totally dirty. After camping we stayed in a condo in Park City for a week. It was so nice to be in cooler weather and go to the park and enjoy the outdoors. We really enjoyed ourselves. We went to an aquarium in Sandy and then to 7 peaks. We were exhausted when we got home, but it was worth it.
